traveling to Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands with EAD & Real ID
Has any travel to Puerto Rico with just their real ID and work permit. I’m planning to visit PR or US Virgin Islands but I don’t want to have any issues with immigration while my case is pending. pls share ur experience and what to expect. thanks
Over 3 months of i130 approval, and no updates on EAD or i485. it’s been a long and stressful journey!
We can’t work or do anything without a work permit. it’s been long months of wait.

Status retuned back for the second time after 2 years to this: "Fingerprint were taken and applied"
Anybody got this action? I recieved on July 10-11, 2026 after long time processing on my 485 NIW-EB2. What it means? I have checked previous experiences. Some applicant said they got another update in few days from "approved" to "RFE" or "Interview".

Fingerprints
Hey guys!
Just received case status update saying "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
As of July 11, 2026, fingerprints relating to your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number"
that is a second time.
Does it mean my case is reopened/ someone is working on it? Do you think I can soon receive a decision?

need help
I am a US Citizen who filed a concurrent AOS for my wife, and we are starting to get a bit anxious about our case. I'm hoping to get some advice or hear from anyone who might be in a similar boat.
Here is our timeline so far:
• April 3: Submitted I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, and Medical (Concurrent filing).
• April 27: Biometrics completed.
• June 9: Interview at the Irving Field Office (Dallas).
Our interview went really well. The officer who interviewed us was very positive and her exact words were, "Looking good from my end." She mentioned that she just needed to type up her notes for her supervisor to review, and that we should have a decision in 48 hours.
Fast forward to today (about a month later), and the status for both the I-130 and I-485 is still stuck on "Interview Scheduled." I’ve seen many people who had their interviews at the same Field Office on June 9—and even dates after—get their approvals already.
I’ve tried reaching out through Emma, but haven't gotten any helpful responses or updates. I also checked the backend/extension, and there are absolutely no silent updates on both applications since our interview date. The event code still says "FJ".
Has anyone experienced a similar delay after being told to expect a quick decision? Is it normal to be stuck on "Interview Scheduled" after the interview has already taken place? Any advice on what we should do next would be greatly appreciated!
