I am a dependent; I got my EAD approval days after bio, but my husband, who is the primary, hasn’t received any news. Is this normal? How
long should it take for him
to have news? How long does it take to get news between bios and the I-485 decision?

Hi! We are in the same situation. The biometrics were completed in April, but we still haven't received a result. The approval timeframe varies depending on the processing speed of the office handling the file. It is also normal for the primary applicant not to receive a work permit prior to the Green Card approval, as the card itself can be approved directly. I hope we get good news very soon🙏
