16yrs! why was it denied? did you miss a submission?

did you file i485 for a 16years old?

did they provide a reason for denial?

am yet to receive the reasons. Hopefully will get it in my mailbox next week

@vikky ola If you’re a US citizen, I will advise you appeal or refile immediately before she turns 18. and it might be over signature or petty thing cuz such is hardly denied. Also consent letter from the other parent, just little little things cuz of this administration hardly request RFE but does the denial but not the end of road for sure

@Jah Bless sure I will do that immediately I see what the reason was. Am still a green card older though. Thanks alot for the advice

once I130 is denied then the others will automatically be denied. Wait for the denial notice to find out why. You can then file I129b. use professional service of an experienced immigration attorney

@B W has promised I got the denial letter today and it was just saying she was not a lawful resident has at the time the application got to them. I have not had from my lawyer to explain more about it. I will break it down better when I hear from her.

@B W so after much discussion with some lawyers. I think my attorney filled a wrong category. We trying to see what can be done to rectify it now.

@vikky ola Thank you so much! My daughter and I are deeply disappointed with the system. She was accepted to university this summer, but unfortunately, she couldn’t get any scholarships due to not having a green card. We are extremely saddened by this result. 😢

@B W we are in thesame shoe although my daughter got a scholarship but not has much has expected because she could not apply to some, due to ssn issues.
