Sharing my timeline to give some hope. Applied for an adjustment of status for my parent who came into the U.S on a legal visa. We also hired a lawyer for a I-160 waiver as my parents opposes vaccines due to religious reasons. We had to reschedule the biometrics as we missed it but it was super fast. Today we got the notice that it was approved. We didn’t need an interview at all. Super stoked for the fast timeline and smooth experience. It’s been less than 3 months.

anybody here same boat pd july 2023. upgraded my case from F2A to IR1 on May 18 ,2025 got rfe sep 25 response to rfe received oct 7 still waiting. writ of mandamus filed april14 2026 still waiting. long island field office.

today is 120 days post i 751 interview and no decision. i was told be uscis agent on the phone that last time case was touched was feb 26, 1 week after interview. no rfe, no noid, non decision. 😩😩😩 nyc field office

2.5 Months Passed since I485 Interview

I’m U.S citizen who filled green card for my father. He had interview on April 14,2026. During interview we got paper saying “Additional review is needed”. It’s been 2.5 months since interview and no update. Is it normal?

Hello all! how long are y’all seeing the I-130 marriage taking to progress or even move for an update? I used to have DACA so I’m guessing they will re use my biometrics. but I filed in March 2026 if anybody else is on the same boat as I am! filed my EAD and I-485 same time.
