@Muhammad E. as soon as apply for ssn and dl because it takes to much time they send save case check it takes nearly 1 to 2 months 18 months work permit for ssn and dl we loos 2 to 3 months

Hi everyone, I'm seeking some advice. My STEM OPT I-765 (c)(3)(C) was filed on Jan 19, 2026, and I completed biometrics on Feb 18. My case is still pending, and my 180-day automatic extension expires on Aug 8. USCIS told me there is no RFE, my case is processing normally, an officer reviewed it on July 16, and my service request was assigned to an officer on July 22. Has anyone been in a similar situation? What happened when your automatic extension was about to expire while your I-765 was still pending? Any advice would be appreciated.
