May 2025 – June 2026 ⏳ Waited over 1 year after my interview with no decision. May 19, 2026 📩 Received an “action taken” update on my case, but no status change. June 27, 2026 🎉 My I-485 was finally approved! Timeline * Over 1 year from interview to approval. * Almost 2 years from filing to Green Card approval. 🇺🇸 Faith, patience, and God’s perfect timing. 🙏 your time is coming, for sure! Hi Guys! I have a VAWA case that I applied in 2023. and I applied separately for my work permit in April 2025. I have not received anything from the USCIS only the receipt number telling me that my case has been received and sent to a different location. I have not received any biometrics request or any prima facie letter. would like to know if anyone else has this situation. I am a bit worried. Thank you!

New Court rules on GC for re-entry.

So what do you all think about this new rule? Even if you have no criminal history, the CBP officer can suspect you of anything on the spot and accuse you of any crime that you didn’t commit? That’s how I am interpreting the true meaning behind all this..

Anyone else with a VAWA pending for almost 5 years?

I filed my VAWA in August 2021. I got an RFE for bona fide marriage, replied 2 months ago, and now both my I-360 and I-485 (filed in 2019 through marriage) were transferred to another office on the same day. Has anyone had a similar timeline? Did it lead to an interview, denial, approval? If so, how much notice did USCIS give, and what happened next? Thank you! 🙏

FINALLY

Religious worker here. Finally, after so many years, my case has been approved. From visa retrogression to the travel ban, this journey has been one obstacle after another. If you're affected by the travel ban, do everything legally possible to bring attention to your case. I tried everything: reached out to multiple members of Congress for assistance, submitted an e-Request service inquiry, called USCIS to try to speak with a Tier 2 officer, looked into filing a mandamus lawsuit, planned to contact the USCIS Ombudsman the following week, and, honestly, I even updated my address on the USCIS website hoping it might trigger some sort of review on their end. This process has been long, painful, and incredibly expensive—both financially and mentally. I'm just grateful it's finally over. For the first time in years, I have real peace of mind. If you have any questions about my journey or the process, go ahead and ask. I've got time.

hi folks! Can i-485 be approved at NBC instead of FO? My dependent just got their Combo card (141+765) approved while our 485 is still pending and our case is still at NBC. a friend just got their I-485 approved from a FO (EB2-NIW)
