[VAWA] I-485 Interview: Answer from memory or look at forms?
Hi everyone,
For a VAWA-based I-485 interview, can I reference a copy of my forms while answering questions, or do I have to answer entirely from memory?
If I'm not allowed to look at any paperwork, should I ask my lawyer for copies of my I-360 and 1-485 right now so I can start reviewing and memorizing the timelines?
Would love to hear from anyone with experience. Thanks!

of course! you should be ready for an interview, get them copies or get your FOIA request and review everything! best of luck! please lmk if your 360 and 485 were transferred to the other office at once together before your interview?

u have to answer directly, while they the immigration officer has your files infront of them.. to make sure that what u are saying matches what they ask you! @kiki k

@blessed nikay thank you ! my case transfer to the Brooklyn FO , I saw your post is New York too , I’m very nervous to waiting there schedule the interview , are they asking any about the I360 ?

@kiki K not sure but he asked me how I claim i am In or was in a abusive relationship is that so?. I answered him yes sir! did not ask me any or abuse questions
