IR-1 questions
so I have my interview booked in April, London. as well as my medical.
I have some questions though.
1. in the medical exam email confirmation. it asks for you to obtain a report for a doctor to address any medical conditions. mental health being one of them. I have records for when I was a teen about my mental health and medications and self harm. I’m getting a private doctor to write me a letter however I’m curious how difficult it is to pass the exam if your arms are covered in old cuts?
I’m doing better than ever now, not been bad for years. but I do have a history.
2. I once got denied at the border for attempting to adjust of status. they stopped me and put me under oath, I told them the truth and they sent me home saying I need a immigrant visa. so I wasn’t banned. in the DS-260 I said that I simply had the wrong documents/visa.
I’m worried the mental health will stop me getting past medical and I’m worried that even if I explain truth that I was denied at the border, that I’ll get denied at the interview or even worse pass the interview but get denied at the border when moving over.
advice?
