withdraw letter
This is my situation… On August 2021 me and my lawyer submitted an application for Change of status (J1 to F1) After we sent the application by mail we realized that the application was a total disaster with a lot of mistakes on the form and also some documents were missing. I was so afraid about that application would be denied so i submitted another application on September 2021 online with all the correct documents and information.
Surprisingly some days ago the first application got approved and i received the Approval Notice from USCIS by mail.
I sent a withdrawal letter and i received the confirmation from USCIS about the withdrawal. My question is this withdrawal can affect my 1st approval application? or is it just for the 2nd application i requested?
Thank you
Expiring passport - H1B transfer
Hi everyone!
My passport is expiring in a few days and I’m supposed to start an H1B transfer soon. My home country’s ambassy takes a while to renew documents so I’m wondering if anyone has had experience with transferring their H1B while having an expired passport.
Any insights would be appreciated, thanks so much!
On June 28, 2022, the Post Office returned a notice we sent you
Does anyone know why it appears that USPS returned. a notification to uscis for not being able to deliver it, previously I had received it. my receipt without problem and right now I have 11 months and I'm just waiting for approval

visa case update is still refused
hi all, as some of you know our visa was refused and we were asked to send additional documents ( my birth certificate) the one we presented at the interview wasn’t accepted so we had to get an original, we sent that on 6/19/2022. Since then I have been checking the ceac for the status and it has been updated 3 times and both time it still says REFUSED. first it was updated on 6/22/2022 the second 6/27/2022 and the third time it was updated today and still says refused. should I be concerned? has anyone ever gone through this before??
