Expiring passport - H1B transfer
Hi everyone!
My passport is expiring in a few days and I’m supposed to start an H1B transfer soon. My home country’s ambassy takes a while to renew documents so I’m wondering if anyone has had experience with transferring their H1B while having an expired passport.
Any insights would be appreciated, thanks so much!

I had a similar experience. I asked for an official letter from the embassy to indicate that I had applied for a new passport. I included the letter in the application to USCIS

they did not
