visa case update is still refused
hi all, as some of you know our visa was refused and we were asked to send additional documents ( my birth certificate) the one we presented at the interview wasn’t accepted so we had to get an original, we sent that on 6/19/2022. Since then I have been checking the ceac for the status and it has been updated 3 times and both time it still says REFUSED. first it was updated on 6/22/2022 the second 6/27/2022 and the third time it was updated today and still says refused. should I be concerned? has anyone ever gone through this before??

i have the same but after. 9 months still refused in my case was denied

the one we sent is original. I’m not sure what’s going on as of today the visa is still refused. they didn’t accept my copy so we had to go to the courthouse to obtain the original one

no change yet but they emailed me letting me know that they received my documents and I just need to prove our relationship by sending snap shots of our email, messenger and WhatsApp conversations. to prove that we communicate on a regular basis as a mother and daughter. things are heading in the right direction
