hello everyone, i need some help, my case recently transfer to nvc but i see interview location tokyo, my wife was at tokyo for study when i file i-130 but see moved back to country of birth nepal, how can i change interview location to nepal, case is still in nvc i haven't fill of form d260! pls help i have no idea waht to do. nvc does not pickup call nowadays😫😫👏

Case Was Sent to The Department of State
it’s been 16 days after approval notification by USCIS 🙏🏼but still waiting for the next step which is to be sent to the Department of State and then receive the Welcome Letter.
I saw approvals after mine that already reached DOS notification.
Any thoughts on how long does it takes?

Joint sponsor i-864
I'm working as a self-employed and make about $28K total income on my tax return. Although my income is above poverty guidelines, it is not stable.
I'm filing I-864 on NVC to sponsor my wife.
My question is can I add Joint Sponsor (at first when uploading documents ) if my income is above the guidelines but I know it is not stable?
I don't know how the officer behaves with a self-employed income but is the officer requests for a Joint sponsor in the middle of the process (RFE) if the income doesn’t meet?

Married filling jointly tax return for I-864
Hi,
I'm sponsoring my spouse who is the principal immigrant in the form I864 in NVC. she is not in the US and she doesn’t and didn’t have any income. However, I got ITIN for her and include her in my taxes( Married filing jointly) but all of the income stated in the tax return is coming from me.
Do I need to include her in my I864 (such as part 6 item 8)because she is also on my tax return? Do I need to write her current income same as mine?

Documents reviewed today NVC
I submitted my documents March 16, and today my documents were reviewed. Unfortunately I had two documents rejected, one of which I have to fix because the Affidavit of support has to be signed by hand. For those who submitted Turkish Marriage document, did you submit a picture of every page of the red book and was it accepted?

NVC Petitioner Affidavit of Support
hello all,
I filled out & submitted status proof n affidavit of support for my joint sponsor and it’s over 5hrs it hasn’t updated yet, is that normal? it said it should take 1hr to update. Also I noticed for me the petitioner, when I click “start now” to upload my affidavit of support and financial documents, it’s taking me else where (under civil documents), instead of where I’m supposed to see the area to upload these informations is there any issues I should be concerned about? or what can I do differently? #nvc #aos #petitioner

I don’t always check this app like I should, but decided to do an update of where we are in our progress so far.
I’m 🇯🇲🇺🇸 and I’m married to a 🇬🇭man. We live in China and have Chinese 🇨🇳 residency through my job. My job will end in June 2023, and our Chinese visas will expire on 7/31/23, and we will have to leave China.
We started our journey when we sent our I-130 on December 16, 2020 and it was received by USCIS in January 2021. Our petition was approved on November 4, 2021, and we were sent our NVC welcome.
I uploaded my AOS info to the NVC and my husband’s application on March 18, 2022, then heard back from them on May 31, 2022 stating we needed a joint sponsor and I needed to prove my domicile.
It took me some time to secure a credible joint sponsor, a friend of mine agreed and we finally got their documents and loaded them on March 15, 2023. during all of this I was able to secure a new job and apartment in the US that are waiting for me to get there in June 2023.
I’m hoping and praying that the NVC will DQ us quickly, and that we can get hubby’s interview before we have to leave China, as our visas expires on July 30, 2023.
Ghana’s embassy has a lot of backlog, so I know I’m asking for a miracle, and I would appreciate your prayers.
