NVC appt question
#i601a waiver approved in December 2022 - a month later NVC sent this email, but keep in mind my DS260 was sent out July 2022 before i601a approval (this was my lawyers way of getting ahead of the waiver approval) and NVC also requested more evidence in September aside from the RFE we received from USCIS. We sent the evidence requested to NVC in December and this was emailed to me on February 2nd.
“The National Visa Center (NVC) received all the requested documentation for this immigrant visa case. The applicant is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the applicant's visa application.
The U.S. Embassy tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments as they become documentarily qualified. However, before applicants in a numerically limited (preference) visa category can receive an appointment, their priority date must also be current. This can delay receipt of an appointment.
You can track your priority date using the Visa Bulletin at https://usvisas.state.gov/ visabulletin. NVC schedules appointments one month in advance, but we cannot predict when an interview appointment will be available.”
the email is of course longer, but how long after this should I expect an appointment?

hello guys! yesterday I logged in into the USCIS website and found out an approval notice under the documents tab, what’s strange is that it hasn’t update the “main” tab which still “under reviewing”. does this happened to any of you guys?
also, now what? lol i have to wait until NVC emails me? i googled it up and it takes about 50 days, is that correct?

73 days after USCIS approved our case and still nothing from NVC!
our K1 visa was approved on Nov 22, but we didnt receive the welcome letter from NVC yet, it has been 73 days now. We tried calling NVC, but they suspended this service, we sent online inquiry, but still haven’t heard from them. Anyone with similar experience or any information on how long does this all take?
We thought once USCIS approved, things would go faster…..Really desperate here…….#nvc#k1

I-130 wrongly sent to NVC, how long to get it transfer back from NVC to USCIS?
in 2018, our I-130 got approved. Today we had our I-485 interview. The interview went okay but officer told us she cannot make a decision until our I-130 case gets transferred back to USCIS. She said she has no idea why it is in NVC. Anyone has similar experience? How long does it usually take to get it back to USCIS? #I-130 #NVC #I-485

National Visa Center Response Delay IR1
We submitted all documents on the 1st of July. Received that we were missing some documents and uploaded them all. Since July 29 2022 we have not heard back from them with a response. We are going now almost 6 months. I put in an inquiry in December and they let me know my "documents" were received and to look a the "Time Frames" They have passed the day they responded to my email inquiry and nothing. Has this happened to anyone? Any suggestions? #NVC #Approval #Response #IR1
