NVC submitting documents not showing up
Hey all, our visa is at NVC. And our lawyer says that he submitted the documents 2 days ago, however when we log in CEAC we are not seeing documents 'submitted'. It says 'incomplete' and 'start now'. Those of you who already went through the NVC provess, do you maybe have any idea why that might be? Thank you!

How does USCIS change of address affect my I-485 application timeline?
Back in Feb 2022, we filed I-485 and I-130 concurrently for my permanent resident application, with my wife, a naturalized US citizen, being the petitioner. Our case was transferred to the Chicago FO on 07/01/2022. The I-130 application was approved on 02/28/2023 and I received the medical RFE on 02/09/2023. We also knew from AskEmma back then that our interview has been waived. According to UPS, our I-693 response was delivered and signed by the Chicago FO on 04/05/2023. Until today (06/13/2023), there's no status update on my USCIS account (still showing request for evidence was sent). We have reached out on AskEmma for an expedition request, as well as contacted the Chicago FO through congressional liaison but just received some boilerplate response :-/
My wife and I have just graduated and would need to relocate to the LA county in a few weeks. Given that we are so far along into the I-485 application, how does the change of address affect our application timeline? Will our case be transferred to a different field office? Would it help if we update our physical address, but keep a mailing address in Chicago? Thank you so much for your help and look forward to hearing back from you soon :-)

Texas en menos de 2 meses ha cambiado el tiempo de procesamiento lo cual me parece una falta de respeto. estaba en 17 meses, luego cambio hace menos de 1 mes a 27 y hoy está en 33 meses. hasta cuando

does anyone have experience with a timeline like mine? in this case I had to do biometrics for my i130 as the petitioner which isn’t usually a typical thing. I still haven’t received my ead.

Ready to Upload Documents (NVC Timeline)
June 2 midnight, we received our i130 approval.
June 5, USCIS case status: case is sent to Deparment of State.
June 6 morning, we received the NVC welcome letter (sent to both me and my wife via email)
In the NVC welcome letter, there are the NVC case number and Invoice ID number, both of which you will need to log in the CEAC system.
June 6 evening, we logged in the CEAC system and paid the fees.
(NOTE: petitioner fee and applicant fee need to be paid separately, credit cards NOT accepted)
Then the fees will be processed. During this time it showed ‘IN PROCESS’ on CEAC.
June 10, fees are received and it says ‘PAID’ on CEAC.
Now we can start uploading the documents for NVC.
- petitioner’s financial documents
- applicant’s DS260 form
- applicant’s civil documents

I'm curious to know if the new immigration reform is indeed reducing processing times, or if there might be a glitch or inconsistency in the system ?
It appears that most cases are experiencing a reduction of six months in processing time. I went down from 13 month to 7 month on USCIS website, I'm suppose to be Nebraska but I kind of think it has been transferred to Potomac I haven't received any transfer notification though ! what service center are you guys ?
"I recently came across some positive news on YouTube regarding a new reform happening in USCIS. It's possible that they have implemented measures to expedite their processes. I encourage you to check out the recent news on YouTube, which highlights their efforts to work faster as a result of the new immigrant reform." #i130 #Nebraska #Potomac

Processing time changed
Hi all,
i have i130 standalone in process. my case status is still received but today when I logged into my uscis account my processing time changed from 8 months to just 3 months. I am having hard time believing it.
Did anyone else saw the reduced processing time?
