definitely not! I would advise getting a service request from USCIS or help from your local congress/ombudsman/senator

@ala enaya I’m in the same boat as you, we filed August 21 and are still waiting . our case has been at the Chicago FO for 8 months we live in Utah . we’ve tried everything too , service request after service request, request to expidite contacted a congressman and senator and still nothing.

my i485 is 712 days I call uscis yesterday and I spoke with a live agent she told me that my case is processing normal and I can't do a service request until next year April she said the only thing she can do is to make a note to let them know that I have reach out to them

the only update was on march this year and it says case is being actively reviewed by USCIS , which is 6 months ago

I’m feb2021, if i didn’t contact congress last week, i would’ve never knew uscis send me mail asking for medical on dec29 2022, i never received the mail. It heart breaking because the due date was march 2023.. That person never mail me no letter because they were busy getting ready for the new years.. Only what that person add on my case was actively reviewing on Dec29 2022… On Monday i will do my medical and send it when it’s ready, with a copy of letter. I hope they accept it…
