hi everyone i have noticed a few cases on here with regards to Removal proceedings Can You guys share your experience on it just to inform who ever is on it!
i have been under removal proceedings since 2013 no criminal record or anything like that originally from mexico been here since 1999 was able to get work permit since 2018 been renewing every year
got married may 2020 filed june 2020 my husband is LPR still waiting on that
My final court hearing was scheduled for September of this year but heard from my attorney that court decided to ADMINISTRATIVELY CLOSE my court case so now i just wait to get the approval on my pending I-130 with USCIS (which through emma i found out its now at my local field office) so we can reschedule my court date and ask for a dismissal

Here is our timeline at NVC
2020-07-12: i130 pd
2022- 06-23: i130 approval with instruction to submit i824
*Took 2 years for i130 to be approved but needed to file i824 due to an error in the adjustment of status/consular processing while filing i130(I was LPR then).
2022-06-30: i824 pd
2023-07-05: i824 approval
*i824 approved finally after a year, i130 took 3 years(in total)
2023-07-09 NVC welcome letter
2023-07-09 paid all the fees
2023-07-14 Fees were processed.
2023-07-15/16 Submitted all the documents
2023-07-27 Documentarily Qualified(DQ)
I hope everyone gets approval soon and gets to stay with their spouse soon.
My case now: F2A changed to IR1(in 2022)
Service center: Potomac(for i130), NBC transferred to Potomac(for i824).
Now waiting for Interview Letter and Interview at Kathmandu Embassy, Nepal.

Looking for some answers ! ! !
1. Does USCIS send a physical I130 approval letter to the petitioner's mailing address? If so, how long did it take you to receive it after you received your approval letter online?
2. Does NVC send a physical welcome letter to your mail or do they just send an email to petitioner's email address on file?
I have read that they only send email now.
3. For those who already went through NVC processing, I understand the DS260 has to be filled out by applicant/beneficiary? However, since everything is now online, does the beneficiary need to fill that out by logging into the account or our lawyer can do that?
Do we also need to fill out any other form granting our attorney the authority to fill these forms for us?

Hi Lawfully family please I will need your advice on a worried mind. I'm a PR who plans to petition for my wife and daughter overseas. So now my worry is, which other form(s) do I need together with ##i130#. do I need to file 130 together with 130a?, and if yes can I sign 130a for my wife since she is overseas.

i130 - Standalone approved after 11 months - California Service Center
Yesterday our case went into second active review and I checked under the documents section on my uscics account to find the i30 approval.
I am filing as a US Citizen for spouse overseas. My priority date was August 19, 2022. First active review was August 24, 2022. And second active review was yesterday. Our case was in California Service Center. Before the approval, for past three months, my case was saying "It is taking longer than expected".
If anyone have a similar situation or have any questions, please feel free to comment here. People in this community have been really helpful and if I can help any way that will be great.
Now off to NVC processing.

Finally approved!! After 490 days of waiting. 🙏🙏🙏
I filled on March 2022. My case was originally in Nebraska, after 12 months I checked the status with live agent and it was in Texas. 14 months later it was in Potomac. 15 months it was back to Texas. Approval came from National Benefits Center.

Anyone received two different I-797C, Notice of Action after filling i130 ?
After I submitted my i130 in August, 2022, I received two separate I-797C, Notice of Action document from USCIS in mail.
The first one was about the creation of online account with the access code for me to use. This notice came from California Service Center.
I received one more I-797C, Notice of Action, that had the preference of classification, payment information, my spouse's name who is the beneficiary. This notice came from Protomac Service Center.
As a result, I thought my case is in Protomac. But when I talked to USCIS live agent, I was told it is in California. The agent didn't mention anything about transfer. May be my case has always been in California.
Notice date is also same on both document. Interestingly, I only see the online account creation notice under "Notices" in my online account.
