I-130 & I485 Approval
Hello everyone I had my I485 interview yesterday (Cincinnati,OH FO). I was fortunate to get an extremely nice officer. the Interview felt more like a casual conversation, granted I was accompanied only by my attorney due to my USC spouse passing in December of last year. the FO was advised of the situation prior to attending the interview. I was asked very basic and little to no questions about my marriage and majority was spent answering I485 questions. the officer did tell me that my petition will automatically be converted to an I360 widower petition. to my great surprise less than 12 hours of my Interview my I-130 and I485 were approved. alhamduliallah! I’ve been in the states since I was 10. this is 17 years later. I wish all of you the best of luck. #I130 #I360 #I485

The NVC will notify the petitioner, principal applicant, or attorney of record when this petition is eligible for further processing. The principal applicant should not make any firm plans such as disposing of property, giving up jobs, or making travel arrangements at this time." information in CEAC. I am the applicant, and my visa class is F11. I filled I 130 when I was single but I will marry in a month, so I will add my wife as a spouse. Will my visa class change from F11 to F31 or not? How long am I gonna wait for an available visa? I received a Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation on the 18th of April. #greencard #immigration #i130 #NVC
