Green card holder sponsor spouse

Hi everyone, I currently have a green card for 2 years now and I’ll be eligible for citizenship in about 3 years(a total of 5 years). I just got married and my spouse overstayed her holiday visa and now I have to file for her(she is currently in the US too). I do see that for the category F2A the priority date is “current” meaning I can file both the i130 and i485 but the issue is I am seeing everywhere that I’ll need a waiver(i601A) because she violated the terms of her visa and because am not a citizen. So right now what will happen if I file for the i485? Will it be automatically be rejected without the waiver or will she be given a work permit until she is called for the interview then get rejected because she doesn’t have the waiver? I am asking because if she can get a work permit for now that will be good while she waits then maybe by the time they call us for the interview I would have been a citizen by then and the waiver will not be necessary. at this point I will just have to wait and stop asking EMMA questions one person told me last week interview was waived and today another told me she didn’t see anything waived lol so weird

Hi guys, I see so many people saying their interview was waived. Does this happen only if you are applying from the US (I-485) or can it also happen if you're applying from your home country? Thanks a lot. (Tired of waiting!!) #i130

hello guys! yesterday I logged in into the USCIS website and found out an approval notice under the documents tab, what’s strange is that it hasn’t update the “main” tab which still “under reviewing”. does this happened to any of you guys? also, now what? lol i have to wait until NVC emails me? i googled it up and it takes about 50 days, is that correct? thanks 🙏 #i130 #nvc #cr1 #uscis #approved #argentina #nowwhat

guys I have a question if your case goes to your field office and rfe etc does it mean that your interview won’t be waived ? cause I’ve seen people say it’s only waived when it goes to another FO ?
