Is USCIS serious about 46-month time frame for the 1-130 petition at the National Benefits Center? It seems like for citizens, it's 36.5 months, which is still a long ass wait time. This is crazy. Anyone heard back with their i-130 from September 2022 PD? Emma said my 1-485 interview seems to be waived, and is just waiting for the i-130 to be completed. Hi all, Finally got approved yesterday. It took pretty much exactly 9months, which was the “middle of the curve” when looking at the probability bars of the I-485 for NBC, so no surprises, neither pleasant nor unpleasant. Some additional points: - I got my EAD about 3 months ago, without AP, no combo card. - I got a “notice of intent to deny” as we had not submitted the bona fide evidence as we expected to bring that to the interview. So we sent it, very quickly after that (a few days) we got the RFE for the medical exam. When I sent the medical I-693, its receipt was confirmed the same day as it was delivered by UPS to USCIS. - Two days later the case was approved. (Interview waived.) Mount Laurel NJ Field Office. (My case must have gotten transferred from Newark FO.) - I never inquired or asked to expedite my case or talked to Emma. - AP still pending, so I wouldn’t count on getting it before the GC, but I read about some people on here who are getting combo cards, but was not the case for me. For me, it helped to focus on the dailiy activities and not think about it every day and to not check this app all the time. case transferred to USCIS headquarters

I spoke to live agent on 1/24/23 and they told me that my case moved from Potomac to the USCIS headquarters. I never received a letter or notification about the transfer. It has been almost 3 months with no update. I put in a service request on 2/13/23, still no update. Has anyone else experienced this? My PD is 12/13/21, FO Brooklyn, USC and my husband lives here. Can I apply for OPT while pending I-765 based on I-485?

Hi, I applied for a work permit through a marriage-based green card on November 28th, 2022, and I just now realized that it might take 15 months to get approved (compared to the 4-6 months I initially thought). I am graduating in May and am interviewing for jobs right now. I am terrified of staying off I-20 status, and not being able to work (+ not being able to drive). Can I apply for an OPT (4-week estimated wait time) while I have a pending I-765 based on marriage? I read somewhere that it could give confusing/opposing intent as one is an immigrant while the other is a non-immigrant, but I also read that the worst case would be the denial of OPT but no effect on the green card process whatsoever. Hello everyone, so January 2023 in the processing time in UCIS it says "it is taking longer that we expected" then now March 2023 it shows 2 months for the processing time. Doe s it mean they already saw the document that I filed for my spouse? thanks. #I130
