Normally, I handled the eb1-a case with a lawyer. We applied for I-485 etc. in June and completed our biometrics process. So can I do expediting as an individual? What kind of documents do they request? Has anyone done any?

I have done almost everything. Is anybody in my situation? What do people do? Sueing USCIS is reasonable thing to do since it costs around 10k? What do I do? I am so sick of waiting. My work permit, my travel permit are all expired. Should I sue USCIS and lose 10k or is there anything else I can do which you guys did and worked? Hello, I went for interview in us consulate Mumbai on 23 August 2024. During interview visa officer asked me for past divorce decree but at that time I was have only judgement of divorce copy so I saw them but visa officer told me he wants divorce decree so that’s why visa officer give me very simple white slip 221g letter and there mentioned how to upload divorce decree documents and after upload you have to submit divorce decree original copy with along your passport at your nearest drop off location. On 3 September 2024 I went Visa application center at Mumbai to submit the original documents with along with my passport.

For those who have gone through this process, could you share what steps you took, what you included in your request, and what you said in the email?
I’m in a particularly difficult situation right now. I have a 5-month-old child with someone else, not my abuser, but I was also facing abuse from my child’s father. I’ve managed to escape that situation, but I feel like I need to go somewhere else for a while to catch my breath. I have a good job, but the emotional toll of everything has left me feeling overwhelmed and depressed. I really need to see my family and friends overseas to help me regain some strength.

Hi, I applied for Vawa i360, I485, i765 and I131 and $630 Fee for Advance parole on July 3rd This year, I got Receiving letter for 765 And 360 on July 13th. But they Sent me Fee back and Some pages of i485 Back. It says Money not needed. But what would be the reason they Returned first 4 pages of i485 form too. Can I get Canadian citizenship while working and residing in the US
My situation -
I am an Indian citizen, currently staying in Vancouver and am a Permanent Resident of Canada. I have completed 2.5 years and have 6 months to go before I file for my citizenship.
I am moving to the US on L1 A visa. My company will help file for American green card.
I however also want to get Canadian Citizenship as I just have 6 months left. My plan is to stay in Point Roberts, Washington, USA and cross the border on a daily basis for 6 months. In that way I will be able to complete my left over 6 months and file for Canadian citizenship.

Green card approved while no longer current
Hi,
This is my curent situation, my PD is Oct, 2022 and I was current from April-June,2024 (EB3 ROW). In the July visa bulletin, the Final date retrogressed to before my PD. My case has been in a case remaining pending (CRP) status since Dec, 2023 until July 16th, 2024 when status changed to “New Card is being produced” and subsequently an approval status. However, I am concerned that an approval outside of my current status will be detrimental to me down the line when I apply for citizenship. I have spoken to my lawyer and they share this concern too and are waiting till I get my green card in hand before following up with USCIS.
The questions I have are: has anyone else faced this situation or in a similar situation? How long did it take to get a resolution? Is there a possibility that I got approved internally(Visa Number allocated) around end of June and it took a while to get the external communication?
I was really looking forward to this approval and now I cannot even celebrate because of this worries :(
