Congratulation. NEW Program for AFGHANS
U.S. to discontinue quick humanitarian entry for Afghans and focus on permanent resettlement programs.
The Biden administration next month will discontinue the use of a humanitarian process known as parole.
Starting on Oct. 1, the U.S. will no longer allow Afghans to quickly enter the country under the humanitarian parole authority.
during the upcoming phase, the U.S. will resettle Afghans who fall into three categories: immediate family members of U.S. citizens, permanent residents and evacuees resettled over the past year; those who qualify for a Special Immigrant Visa because of their assistance to the U.S. war effort; and the "most vulnerable" refugee program applicants, the senior administration official said.

sending medical without RFE
Hello all,
I have a quick question.
So my i140 and i485 are still pending decisions. And I haven't received RFE for medical yet. My medical reports (i693) are ready. Is it okay to send the medical report i683 without RFE while the case is pending? would it help or slow my case even more. Can someone with idea suggest? thank you!!

Hello, one of my children is an asylee as well and have EAD card but the social security office where they live (different area from myself) won’t issue them a SSN because they said they don’t issue numbers for people with a hard copy EAD card because uscis supposed to? USCIS says to go the social security office though? It’s going on 2 months and haven’t received a ssn. what should I do?
