Birth certificate
Did anyone had issue providing birth certificate from their country? when I filed for I-485 form I submitted my birth certificate with being translated in English but for some reason, they requested for my birth certificate with a photo. From my understanding, I never had my photo attached to my birth certifcate when I was born. there is no such a thing of birth certificate with a photo. Not sure why they didnât accept my birth certificate and I submitted the same one for I-130 and they approved my case.
Anyone with similar case?

Letter after Interview Notice?
Hi all, I receive USPS Informed Delivery emails every morning and it shows what mail I will be receiving that day. Today shows I will be receiving a letter that was sent from my USCIS interview office in Manhattan (not NBC). I already received my interview notice that was addressed from NBC and it is scheduled for 11/10. Anyone know what I could be receiving in the mail today?
just an FYI: I already submitted my medical when I sent my application in last Sept.
UPDATE: got the letter. nothing has changed, thank goodness. was just a letter regarding a phone call I made to them regarding my case.

I-485 question
I need some help with this question please on the I-485 form which say indicate the total number of children you have son and daughter both . Note children include both biological born children adopted children, steps children born abroad and the United States, adult or non adult, living with you or not, married or unmarried.
so my question is if me and my wife have one child together and my wife have 2 other children from previous relationship should I include it to the total number of kids I have to be 3 instead of one from your understanding of the question?
second question is it okay to ask the office to make correction on your i485 application form before you start your interview with the office? please I will need all respond and experience
what can I do??
On sept 29 i filed my citizenship online , the same day they reuse my biometric and on October 12 they schedule my interview for December 1st , October 21 they cancel my interview for unforseen reason, I was happy but now I donât know what to do , Iâve seen people comments about that some of them they canceled they interview but they showed up anyway to the interview. Do u guys think itâs a good idea or not?
I did my 2nd stokes interview today Queen NY
we got there and 11.30am and was called in by the officer and asked tons of questions from me and my husband for more than 2hrs. after the interview the officer asked my husband the petionerto signed on his 1-130 form and tell us we would hear from them if they make a decision between one month to 120 days. no white paper given. anyone know when we I likely to be approved?
removal proceedings
I consulted a lawyer concerning my removal proceedings case to see if he can help me file paperwork and to also represent me in court. he told me that I can file everything together meaning i130, i765, and i585 even though I'm in removal proceedings and wait to see if uscis will accept my application. is that even correct because I have spoken to people who's in the same boat they all say the only thing I can file for is the i130
Biometric-fingerprints were unreadable
I just had my biometric appointment today & the lady had trouble with my fingerprints. She said my palms were too clammy. After trying on one hand she refused to try fingerprinting my other hand. I asked if I could try again in bit but she refused outright. She said I would get another biometric appointment once the FBI realizes my prints are unreadable. Anyone experienced the same? How long after the first appointment could I get another appointment? I hate to say/think this but what would happen if the 2nd print fails as well?
travel overseas to my home country
Hi dear community, I have my travel and work permission in hand and our interview is scheduled on December, I was wondering if I can travel overseas to my home country since my husband will be send there 2 weeks for his work. (Family based, green card marriage). Does anybody travel overseas previous your interview?
