I believe you can but human intervention/interaction with consular support might’ve needed unless you know there is a way you can cancel existing appointment and create new appointment using new data 160 confirmation number. I’d suggest calling or email consular support

yes you can call back the old form and it will generate a new code then use the code to update your appointment code

or you can fill a new one and use the back code to update the back code on your appointment.

you don't need a lawyer for this. I know what I am talking about but if you want fine. go with a lawyer. it will not affect your existing date provided the person you want to hand it over knows how it works. we are all here to complement each other base on what we know and the experience we have. don't be scared you are fine but you have to make the update as soon as possible.
