When should I file an Affidavit of Support for my parents?
Hi friends. I'm a US citizen and I filed i-130 petition for my mom and dad on June this year and it says "the case is being actively reviewed...", they are living abroad and I want to know when and where should I submit an Affidavit of Support? thanks for your help!!! and I hope you all hear a good news very soon.

I think you should have submitted it already with your i130?

@Orla M at the time I was told I can file the Affidavit of Support after the i-130 is approved and sent to the US embassy abroad, and also watched some videos of people that did the same thing. But i'm not sure which one is the right path. Thanks for your help.

USCIS does the first lengthy stage and once approved, it will be sent to NVC. NVC will send you a welcome letter/email. In the letter, you will have NVC Case number and Invoice ID number that will be used to access ceac.state.gove/IV/Login.aspx
DS-260 will be filled for each parent and payment to be paid then uploading part will be done including I-864 for each. I assume you filed I-130 for each of your parents and then you will have two welcome letters.

You'll receive 2 welcome letters from NVC, but you will only have to pay one affidavit and upload it in each NVC account separately.
