Texas Service Center experiences
we were transferred from Nebraska to Texas. I’ve not seen a lot of people getting approved in Texas, what is your experience with Texas?

I was also transferred from Nebraska to Texas, without notice. I had to contact USCIS to gather this information.
been waiting 6 months now, no update, case has not even been reviewed to my knowledge.
Julia SOct 24, 2021

Ezy .Oct 24, 2021
same here, transferred without notice and I wonder why they do that, not so much of a common courtesy to say hey....we have transferred your case from point A to B. Transferred from Nebraska ;a centre thought to be doing well in terms of processing time to Texas where it's not so well and any faster. Pd 04/12/2022 still counting with a status still reading- 'Case was received and a receipt notice blah blah.....
osama OudatOct 24, 2021
B A pd Jan 23. Actively reviewing since April 30. category F2A. service center on receipt notice is California but they transferred it to Texas. I think your case is closed to me? are you lpr?
Erin McKeeOct 24, 2021
I check daily hoping to see “actively reviewing” but nope. I only filed in September tho. I see people who switch to actively reviewing writhing a month of filing and I’m jealous!
mushair mOct 24, 2021
PD Feb 4th. got transferred from Nebraska to Texas. actively being reviewed since March 31st.
Julia SOct 24, 2021
@Erin I feel you. it’s been 5 months and it hasn’t switched to “actively reviewed”. but my lawyer said she’s seen cases were they get approved without ever having been “actively reviewed”
Ryan MOct 25, 2021
Transferred from Nebraska to Texas for us too.
2/26/21 PD
5/12/21 actively reviewed
I’m just hoping to see an approval before thanksgiving because otherwise I don’t envision it being approved till after January if the holiday season begins :(
ken SLOct 25, 2021
my question ⁉️ it's possible to transfer your case without your notice?
Olive OOct 25, 2021
@Ken ... Yes. I was the under impression that my case was being processed at the Nebraska processing Center, because that is the information I was given when I reviewed my NOA 1. I started to wonder about the length of time and called, to confirm where my case was being processed. I was told by a live agent that my case, was being processed in Texas and that it had always been in Texas from the beginning. I knew that information was inconsistent, so after 2 phone calls I finally was told that my case was indeed transferred and what date it was transferred on.
reason given?: To share the load of cases needing to be processed.
ken SLOct 25, 2021
@Olive .... I did ensuring /request to USCIS two weeks ago they said will get on to me on 4th November.
Request ID was sent to me and what is the use for ?
please do you have any idea
