Done the interview some days ago (CR1+IR2) in Montreal.At the end CO gave us the paper with AP crossed out.She said I am not able to approve you guys today because I need you to put you guys on AP..On the NVC website for my son is showing he is IR2 BUT the paper CO gave it to us my son is CR2!!!!!! She took our passport and did return all the original documents to us and said you are good to go for today!
She did not mention about DS5535 but AP.

My husband is a USA citizen and we are Canadian citizen.My son is 18 years old and non biological child' petitioner .
Any idea around how long it will takes time to get approval?

Why is the I-130 process taking so long? Our case has been in “actively reviewing” since August and we are just so tired. Has anyone’s moved out of this category recently? Need a bit of hope/motivation. Thanks

L2 visa application
Question: I’m currently in the US waiting for my GC, Work authorization and Advance Parole.
My L2 expired in July (my husband’s company only renewed his L1 not mine)
Now my x eployer got their immigration lawyers in and they want to apply for a L2 again seeing that L2 visa holders have automatic work authorization.
I just want to know if anyone has done this before and if it’s something you do with USCIS(I hope not) or with the US consulate (DS160 form)?

kind of disappointed to see cases that applied way after me getting approved
applied in March 2021 (Potomac service center) I-130
and I’m seeing cases that applied in Sunmer-September getting approved. like how 🥺🙏🏻 send some prayers my way I don’t wanna leave without my hubby we have reunited as a family (I took a risk to travel overseas with my one year old son I’m so stressed on traveling back he will definitely miss his dad when we have to go back to the us. )
