For those asking why we are concerned about this and considering a priority processing (PP) even when we are not current, it's important to clarify our perspective. Our primary concern is the possibility of receiving a Request for Evidence (RFE) or another issue, and we want to secure a priority date (PD) as quickly as possible. This way, we can take action and address any problems that may arise.
•So NO! it has nothing to do with being “CURRENT”.

N-400 with pending I-751 - My Immigration Journey is Finally Over!
Had my combo interview this morning - my spouse attended with me.
The civics exam included the following questions:
• The idea of self-government is in the first three words of the Constitution. What are these words?
• We elect a U.S. Representative for how many years?
• If the President can no longer serve, who becomes President?
• Who is in charge of the executive branch?
• Name one U.S. territory.
• Why does the flag have 13 stripes?
The officer did most of the talking. Other than the civics questions, I was only asked my name and date of birth.
I can’t thank this community enough for all the support. Wishing everyone success on their journeys! I’m beyond happy that my immigration journey has finally come to an end. Now, I just have to wait two months for the Oath Ceremony since my City Court only administers them every other month.

N400 interview January 2025
I arrived without my spouse. Officer proceeded with doublechecking the information on application and conducted the civic questions and got recommended for approved. Side note, Sept 2024 puts me on 5yrs rule but filed earlier in August 2024. I was asked if we are still married and was told I-751 would be approved without sending the 10yr green card because I should have oath ceremony mailed in 2-3 weeks. The next day I-751 shows approved. spent tops 30 minutes and out. feel free to ask any question. Good luck guys!
