Hi everyone! I received a RFE staying I was missing proof of residence for the last 3 years and the form I-693 (medical certificate). They received a response from my lawyer on 8/9/2021 but my lawyer insisted the I-693 form needed to be brought with me for my interview and only sent the proof of residence. I was granted a U-Visa and that wasn't not applicable for my case and they denied my immigration adjustment for that missing document. We filed an appeal I-290B last month. Do you have any idea how long is the wait for their approval to reopen my case?
I am so upset my lawyer wasn't knowledgable of the U-Visa process and in this case an interview is not applicable.

Hey everyone I just had my greencard interview about a week ago, in Miami, and how post has always been sent to Nebraska. I called them now to have an update on my status and it tells me that is under review still. We didn’t have any tricky questions or anything we didn’t know how to answer, my husband and I filled everything by ourselves we never got a laywer. Should I be worried? Thank you

So after a failed first attempt at an expedite of my I765 exactly 3 months ago and on a personal basis, with one month to go until my 180 days expires I have resubmitted!
I expect I will be asked for further evidence to support this and have a letter to support from my employer and a letter to show impact personally also.
I filed on the basis of severe financial loss to both my company and personally.

RFE response sent to Sacramento Field Office
Our interview was on August 4. All went well and officer let us know we might receive an RFE as applicant(me) name is missing on the original birth certificate.
We finally received the RFE on 9/23 and sent the response with all documents required on 10/1. Tracking shows that it was delivered and someone signed for it. How long after this would we get a response/update?
Our case status online doesn’t say anything about the RFE sent or received but I heard that field offices don’t update that.
Anyone been through this process?
Question about Affidavit of Support
Hey everyone, quick question.
For initial evidence, it lists "a copy of your last income federal tax return filed".
Do we need the tax transcript for that? Or is a copy of form 1040 from the IRS enough?
We're having trouble getting the transcript online and ordering it by mail would take a while to arrive, but we do have the forms.

USCIS receipt of medicals RFE
I got a RFE for my I485 on September 7, I sent the response and received my USCIS signed tracking mail on September 20,2021.
so far the case has not been updated and I tried to talk to an agent, who said check after 30 days, nothing is in the system yet.
anyone else facing similar issue? typically I have seen just days for USCIS to update the case file. should I be worried??

Anyone know how long the NVC is taking to review applications? I am waiting for the review of the documents I submitted 2 weeks ago. My case went pretty fast(very unexpected, 47days in and already at the NVC) I am asking just so I know if I need to get ready for the interview since it seems to move a lot faster than I expected. thanks and good luck to you all
