I-485 case still not reopened after a year—located in Long Island NY
Hi, I’ve been trying to get my I-485 case reopened for over a year now. I’ve called USCIS several times and sent all the necessary documents multiple times, but nothing has been resolved yet. Has anyone experienced something similar? What else can I do to get them to reopen my case? I’d appreciate any advice or guidance.

Hola, llevo más de un año intentando que reabran mi caso de la I-485. He llamado varias veces a USCIS y enviado los documentos necesarios en múltiples ocasiones, pero hasta ahora no he tenido respuesta o avances. ¿Alguien ha pasado por una situación similar? ¿Qué más podría hacer para que revisen mi caso? Agradezco mucho cualquier consejo o experiencia que puedan compartir.”
Concern: I-131 / I-601A / I-485
Hi there, my mom is trying to get her P.R. sponsored by her citizen spouse.
• I-601 was submitted on 2022 and got denied on Nov. ‘24
-Resubmitted on Aug. ‘24 we haven’t received any update since then.
*Is it going to take 2 years to get an answer?
• I-485 was submitted on Aug. ‘24 then on Sep. 24 they took her fingerprints but no updates.
*How long will take for the next step? Did you have an interview or just got a green card mailed?
• On Mar. 15 ‘24 we requested an I-131 Emergency Travel and got approved right away in our USCIS office in TN. (We went back to Honduras for less that a week). On Nov. 19 2024 got a denial letter.
* What does that means?

I put an inquiry to USCIS for my i485 case takes time more than regular time and I just received the email from USCIS that We are still reviewing your case. We will mail you a notice when we make a decision.
So do you have any idea that is it gonna help or what does it mean. please let me know if anybody have same experience.
actually I submit my i485 472 days ago and one time I send them RFE 142 days ago.
Finally over!!!
Finally after 2 long years, our immigration journey is over. Just sharing my experience so others can see the timeframe for everything. Good luck to you all.
