background check after interview was completed

hello everyone! I completed my interview in May 2021 and up till now, case status keeps saying it’s under review. I decided to contact them yesterday and they said they sent my case for background check and as for now they can’t tell me when it will be back for adjudication or decision to be made. can anyone tell me why they are performing another background check ? this should have been completed before my interview right ? or even when I did my biometrics. can someone please explain to me? thanks in advance !

Hi all, Can I expedite my i-130 from my uscis online account or I can just do it from emma live agent? Also, those who have been actually approved for expedite requests, can you share some proofs you showed for financial loss reason?? my husband is back home and we been married for 4 and half years already been living separately. i cant wait 2-3 more years for him to join me. I have filed I-539 extension in September 2021. my employer filed I-129 in premium this Jan , which received a RFE due to pending I-539. does anyone know which month filings of H4 are getting approvals.

Do anyone know if everyone in your lawfully rank is being worked on by the same field office? for example, if there are 50 people in your rank and you are 31st in the que, are all 50 people being worked on by the same Feild office or different ones?

Does anyone have received decision from Cali center who has filed application in September 2021 ? this is so ridiculous that they keep pushing processing time backwards after processing … last I have seen July 31 and now back to May 😬😬 It seems clear indication of USCIS to enforce for Premium Processing as it’s more profitable 😬😬
