Finally just after 6 months wait, I got the receipt notice for my GC interview. I’m so happy and nervous at the same time. But can anybody here tell me about the Long Island field office and what to expect?

This is my field office and I received my green card in November 2021. Here are some tips: 1) You are watched the moment you step on-site. Act accordingly 2) Be organized. Create a binder that clarifies your relationship timeline. Supporting documents should be in chronological order 3) Exchange pleasantries with the IO when you are called. I complemented the way she pronounced my last name and that set the tone for the interview In general, LI field office is great and google reviews confirm it. Everyone was so pleasant. Good luck!!!
