need help with 485
Hi,
I had my interview on 21st july for my I485 and it went well but my polio vaccination was pending as it was not done with the medical so they asked me to resubmit my medical and said will let you know once we receive it. I have already mailed my Medical with polio the next day and they received it on 23rd july but the status has not changed since then and haven’t received any response from them. So can I do something or need to wait?
and how long I have to wait for it?
I’m curious to see others’ timelines.
I’m looking for others in a similar situation — my case starts with IOE, it’s at Texas Service Center, and it’s been pending for 6 months now. This is for an L1B extension. Has anyone else been waiting this long? Would love to hear your timelines and any updates you’ve received.

expedite request
After submitting two expedite requests for my EAD and contacting the congressman, USCIS sent me an email today stating that I meet the minimum criteria. I have a job offer to start in November, but they say it is not enough to approve my request at this time. My priority date is March 3. I don’t know what else to do.
It is worth noting that a month ago, my USCIS account showed that my case was taking longer than usual, and this week it states that I am three weeks away from a decision being made.
Asylum case approved today
My brother in law asylum approved today interview did May 12 and case approved August 12. I added his case on my Lawfully App and I received a notification that the case update from Decision is pending to Fees Were Waive for Work Permit EAD. I’m so happy for him 🙏

you are so close to the finish line.
I know this immigration process has been dragging on for years and every delay, mistake, or abrupt answer from USCIS feels like it chips away at your energy.
It’s completely normal to feel like giving up when it’s constant stress and you’re not getting clear answers. But giving up now would mean throwing away all the years, money, documents, and emotional strength you’ve already put in — and you are so close to the finish line.
