Finally Greened! EB2-regular
Hi everyone, I wanted to share my green card timeline with you. I still can’t believe I got approved. I feel incredibly blessed. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate studies here in the U.S. I never overstayed, never used any scholarships or government assistance, and have no tickets or criminal records. After finishing my graduate program, I was fortunate to find a job in health care and have been working ever since. I was first on OPT, then H-1B, and now on my H-1B extension that was set to expire in July 2026. Throughout my career, I’ve earned several certifications. I’m not sure if that made a difference, And I’ve always made sure to stay fully compliant with the law. Reading other people’s timelines here helped me a lot during the process, so I wanted to give back by sharing mine. 1/25/2022: Prevailing wage submitted

Stay positive! a few tip while waiting for your green card: Make American friends, enjoy learning the culture, take on new challenges, work out, or study for a certification or test. Find something that helps you focus on growth instead of constantly checking for updates. It really makes the wait easier. 👏🏻
