I recently had my green card interview, and overall, it was a surprisingly positive experience. The interviewing officer was super nice and genuinely curious, which helped. The questions asked were pretty straightforward, mainly focusing on verifying the information provided in my application.
For anyone preparing for their interview, my biggest recommendation is to bring any and all documents that you believe could be relevant to demonstrating the legitimacy ("bonafide") of your case. In my experience, having a comprehensive collection of documents such as joint bank statements, leases, utility bills, photos, and travel itineraries proved to be beneficial.
While every interview is unique, I left feeling that being well-prepared with documentation and encountering a friendly officer made the process much smoother than I had anticipated. Good luck to everyone going through this!

Travel through Dallas with GC
went to my home country for 2 weeks since I got my greencard in February. I came back through Dallas and everything was a smooth process. A lot of people was discouraging me from going because they say people with greencard are being deported as well. But to be honest NO one was going to STOP me from going home, haven’t seen home for 6 years so my mind was already made up on traveling. Went through customs and he did his usual security check and said “your good to go mam”. My message today is if you don’t have no pending criminal records and your traveling with Greencard or Advance Parole you should be good. Stay bless everyone.
