Still Waiting After Green Card Interview – I-130 & I-485 Pending
It’s been over 302 days since my green card interview, and I’m still waiting with no decision. On December 11, 2025, my I-485 status changed to “case is being actively reviewed by USCIS,” but nothing since then. This process has been incredibly stressful and exhausting. Is anyone else in the same boat? Both my I-130 and I-485 are still pending.
Interview Schedule Separetely Experiences
Does anybody has any experience with rescheduling the interview for the same day ?
EB2-NIW Case
My husband (dependent) was schedule for the interview and after 2/3 weeks I was scheduled for 1 month later than him. I’d like to do the interview with him because it is earlier. Any thoughts?
thank you,
SIJS Situation
Just sharing my Sijs case timeline if anyone is also in the same limbo. Any advice or if anyone wants to exchange contacts also in a similar situation would be appreciated!!
- I-360 Approved (No Deferred Action): May 14, 2025, right before policy change
- Policy Change: On June 6, 2025, USCIS rescinded the automatic deferred action policy for recipients.
- G-325A Filed: July 2025
- G-325A Denied (no NTA): October 2025 - Policy Change again to temporarily reinstate 2022 deferred action policy: November 2025
Now I’m contemplating either waiting to see if they go back to my case, even though it was before the policy change and they denied my G-325 attempt already. Or consider resubmitting another G-325 or other request again in hopes they won’t deny me and risk a Notice to Appear even with my strong case and clean record, but I am about to graduate university in California.
Houston office
over 2 months since our interview in November. we were given the white paper and was told we should be getting something in the mail within a month. Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS since that date. nothing has changed and been radio silence ever since. this is dragging and very frustrating.

CR-1 Case Returned to USCIS After 221(g): Is B2 Visit Visa Advisable?
My spouse filed Form I-130 for me in March 2021. The I-130 was approved in June 2023 and later processed through Form I-824, which was approved in June 2024. The case moved to NVC in July 2024, and my immigrant visa interview was scheduled at the Mumbai Consulate in November 2024. During the interview, I was issued a 221(g) and asked to submit my divorce decree. I obtained the decree through court and submitted it in March 2025. After this, my case was placed under administrative processing and later returned to USCIS for further review. There has been no update for several months.
Question:
Given this situation, would it be advisable to apply for a B2 (visitor) visa to visit my U.S. citizen spouse while the immigrant visa case is pending? #USImmigration

VAWA: Waiting but not broken
I know how heavy this process can feel. I’ve been waiting 3 years and 4 months for my VAWA approval, and 10 months for my EAD renewal. Right now, I can’t even work because of the delay and some days, it honestly feels overwhelming.
But I want you to know this, we are not forgotten and we are not defeated.
This process tests our patience, our faith, and our strength in ways we never asked for. Many of us survived abuse, rebuilt ourselves from nothing, and are now being asked to wait in silence. That alone shows how resilient we already are.
If today feels hard, that doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re human. If you feel tired, frustrated, or discouraged your feelings are valid. But please don’t let this season convince you that your life is on pause forever. It’s not.
One day, this wait will turn into a testimony. One approval will open doors we thought were permanently closed. One moment will make the struggle make sense.
Until then, hold on, keep going, lean on God & speak life over yourself.
We didn’t survive abuse to be broken by paperwork delays.
Our time is coming. And when it does, it will be worth the wait.
You are not alone.
