Just saw this update and am freaking out. I attended my interview on August 4th and then received this update. Interview cancelled and notice ordered. what does this mean?

On August 5, 2026, we cancelled your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number ……, and mailed you a cancellation notice. We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if we need something from you. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by September 4, 2026, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
Biometrics Done, Not showing in portal
I had my biometrics on June 17th and it didn't show in my my USCIS portal, just got the the notice in the mail. After the biometrics, it is yet to reflect that it's been done in my portal. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Has anyone here filed a mandamus lawsuit for a VAWA I-360 that had been pending for more than three years?
If so, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience:
* How long had your I-360 been pending when you filed?
* How long after filing the mandamus did USCIS take action?
* Did the government fight the case, or was it resolved quickly?
* Would you recommend filing, or do you wish you had waited longer?
Its been 1274 days since I filed I360. around 3.5 years.
Notic of Intend. Help Vawa Fam!
My work permit was approved on July 17th, and I have already received my EAD card. I just got a notification of "Notice of Intent" notification on my I-360, even though I responded to an RFE back in October 2025. I am wondering what information they might be requesting, or if anyone else has experienced a similar situation. submitted Vawa since December 2021.
My case turn to RFE today.
Finally, my case has made some progress! It’s been waiting 1,333 days since its last status update on Dec 12, 2022. My Priority Date is June 8, 2022, under the EB-4 Religious Worker category. Does anyone have experience with this, or know what the RFE might be for? Also, how long does it usually take after responding to an RFE? May God’s grace be with you all—don't lose your faith, and stay patient through this difficult wait.

It's been 444 days since I submitted my I-765 under C14, but I still haven't received any information or an update. I already submitted my RFE evidence. I applied to expedite the application request more than 3 times, but it was denied. They are saying it's still in normal processing time. I really need my work permit to go to college, and I am missing a lot of opportunities. It's so frustrating since I don't have anyone to help me, and I am an SIJ. I need some advice or at least hope for what's going on and what I should do.

I-485 status changed from RFE Received to "Fingerprints Were Taken" – Anyone else?
Hi everyone,
Since June 25th, my case status was "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received." My RFE was regarding my medical exam (I-693) and confirmation that my job offer is still valid.
However, the status suddenly changed back to "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken."
Has anyone here had a similar experience?
Should I be concerned, or is this a common update before approval? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
husband in ice custody

so my husband was taken into ice custody on april 20 because of his expired tourist visa since nov 2024. we had our wedding planned for june, but due to the situation, we married on may to start the process of his green card while detained. i was informed that a detainee gets priority by uscis due to humanitarian reasons, but it’s been like 3 months now with no response from uscis after they expedited the i-130 on may 11. no review, no interview… even after the judge requested uscis to expedite the review. i see others get their green card so much faster. what could possibly be happening?! is it luck?! anyone else went through the same situation??
