What Should My Mother Say About My Status During Her B1/B2 Visa Interview?
Hi everyone,
I applied for a B1/B2 visa for my mother to visit me in the United States. Her interview is on November 7th.
I’m under VAWA and have a valid work permit and travel document.
If the visa officer asks my mother about my status in the U.S., what should she say?
Should she mention that I’m a VAWA holder, or is it better to say something else?
Also, what documents should I send to her to take to the interview?

I485 pending for 19 months without RFE
hi guys,
My VAWA was approved in March 2024, but since then I haven’t received any RFE or update on my I-485.
The senator has contacted USCIS twice, I’ve called them four times, and my lawyer also sent a letter — but still no response.
I’m really frustrated and stressed about this situation.
Is anyone else experiencing the same or a similar situation?
