hello good people? I hope you'll doing great if not hanging in there, just a quick one. how long does it take for a confirmation email from either uscis that they have forwarded my case to the nvc or the nvc to contact us that they have receive our case, it has been 42 days with no communication 😥 am kinda losing my patience anyone in the same boat to encourage each other?
Missing RFE sent to USCIS
Hello Everyone,
Please has anybody’s RFE response gone missing before? what did you do?
I submitted my RFE response in on May 23/2025 and USPS said it was delivered to the San Fernando field office but my status still shows that I have not responded to the RFE request. I have contacted them severally but was told that I did not submit any RFE response.
Please I’ll need your advise and experiences to help me resolve this issue.

📢 Asylum Case Update & Need Advice
Hi everyone,
I applied for asylum on March 25, 2025, and had my interview on June 3, 2025.
After the interview, the officer kept my original passport and all original documents, and gave me a letter stating that they are retaining the documents for further review (for affidavits, etc.).
Then on June 9, 2025, my online status changed to “Application Pending”, and it has remained the same since then.
I would like to ask the group — has anyone else experienced something similar? Is this normal, or should I be concerned? Any expert opinions or members’ experiences would be really helpful. 🙏
Global Entry background check is still pending
Is it possible that my Global Entry background check is still pending because CBP is waiting for clearance or police verification from my home country (India)? Could that be one of the reasons for the delay in processing my application?
