I say I am married, but I wasn’t when I make my asylum case, and I told the government the truth somebody he told me to lie and after that I apply for my green card is through marriage but my lawyer, she forget the question blank with no answer have you ever lie? I get my green card but now I try to apply for my citizenship. And I scared what’s gonna happen?

“Notice Returned to USCIS – Seeking Advice”
Hi everyone,
I recently received an update from USCIS stating:
“Notice was returned to USCIS because the post office could not deliver it.”
My case status also changed from “Case Received” to “Notice”
I have never changed my address with USCIS — my address has been the same since the beginning of the case.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Do you have any idea what type of notice it might be or what steps I should take next?
Any guidance or shared experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

F2A time to get approved
Hello everyone, I have an F2A marriage-based I-130 case (spouse is a green card holder). We paid the fees on March 28, 2024, and it’s still under review at the Texas Service Center with no updates.
Does anyone have a similar timeline or know how long approval usually takes? Thank you! 🙏

CR-1 case expedite to Djibouti embassy
my case was expedited from nvc to Djibouti embassy for immediate scheduling on Sept 24 and it’s now 7 weeks and I still haven’t received a interview letter or any communication from the embassy.
I had 4 congressional inquires and the embassy only responds with “applicant is not scheduled at this time”. I’ve sent many emails and calls and never got a response. can anyone help which what I should do and tell me when I should be receiving a interview letter.
I-751 and n-400 finally got Citizenship!!
After being a green card holder for 3 years, I finally got a citizenship after filing n-400 for 90 days! They reused my biometric from the green card, bring my husband to the interview for I-751 and also got n-400 interview right after (husband was sitting there with me throughout the interview). The officer is very friendly, we answered some dates wrong but she didn’t make it an issue. She gave the oath ceremony appointment paper right after interview. I came back to the oath ceremony 3 days later and that’s it!!
ps. I’m in NYC. If you got an early appointment like 8:30am you should go very early because there’s a long line to get in. I walked up to the security and asked them if I could get in fist because I gonna be late and they let ppl with early appointment got in first which was nice of them.
Good luck. If you’ve prepared, you will pass the interview very smoothly 😊
