Case Processing
AOS
I’m feeling really confused about whether my wife needs to provide her vaccination records for her Adjustment of Status application as there is alot of varying information online. Her medical exam was completed on October 13 2025, and she entered the United States on December 29, 2025. The forms from her medical exam were included in the packet given to Customs and Border Protection when she entered, and we haven’t gotten that packet back. Because of this, we’re unsure whether we need to submit a new Form I-693 or vaccination records, or if we don’t need to submit anything at all for her Adjustment of Status, since the exam is less than a year old. I just want to make sure we handle this correctly and don’t risk delaying her. If anyone else is going through something similar or have gone through this, what did you do? Is it required? Thank you for reading:)
American citizen applying for spouse
We got married in September 2025, submitted documents in November (4th), and have only received the receipt letters. We are in Florida. I am from Brazil and overstayed my visa. I feel like it’s taking too long, at least to get the work permit. Anyone else?

Immigrant Visa Processing Pause – Seeking Humanitarian Options /Pausa en Visas de Inmigrante – Busco Opciones Humanitarias
Hello, I have a pending F2A family petition with a priority date of March 10, 2023. With immigrant visa processing currently paused, I’m feeling desperate. Could my spouse’s health condition qualify for an expedite request? Are there humanitarian visas, parole, or other legal options that would allow me to enter the U.S. while we wait?
VAWA I-485: Address Change Advice Needed
Hi everyone,
I filed my I-485 separately after my VAWA approval. When I filed, my residence was in Brooklyn. I just finished my biometrics, and I’ve now moved to Queens.
I’m wondering if I need to update my physical address. My mailing address hasn’t changed—it’s still my lawyer’s office. If I do need to update, should I do it online, by mail (AR-11), or by phone?
Also, I’m a bit worried about the interview: if the officer asks for my current address, should I say Brooklyn or Queens? Will updating my address affect my I-485 processing or interview scheduling at this stage?
Thanks so much for any advice!

Past (2015) cured Tuberculosis History While filing i-485
Hi, I am really worried about something. If any one of you faced the similar situation like me I would be grateful.
I had tuberculosis in 2015, which was fully treated and cured in my home country. I’ve had no health issues since then. Though i do not have the prescriptions back then because it was long ago and we do not have any EHR, I did a checkup in 2021 and the doctor said basically the scar you see on your lungs is basically due to the previous damage done to you by the virus. But it is not harming you. I had that checkup report of 2021.
I’m planning to file Form I-485 under the NIW category, and I’m worried about how a past (but cured) TB diagnosis might be viewed during the immigration medical exam?
I have seen from the UsCis that they only give in-admission to active cases only. Treated or previous one are admissible and marked as latent TB.
Any helpful insights from you would be great from you or your known peoples experience if any. I already got the appointment of a doctor from south asia as I am from south asia. Should i explain him my previous treated TB history and the previous 2021 checkup reports so that he can understand?
Thanks
