why is the date of filling way ahead of the final action date?
is there a reason why they have a filling date of January 2023 while the final action date is July2021? could it be that they are likely to move final action date closer to filing date in the near future?
I have a pd of September 2022. curious if I’ll be current or retrogress again.
i-140 pending + i-1485 + i-765
I'm Venezuelan( born)/Argentine. I have a pending EB2-NIW (I-140 filed March 2025). Now that the bulletin is current, I want to file my I-485 + I-765.
With the recent 2025/2026 memos (adjudicative hold for Venezuelans), is it possible to get the EAD approved while the I-140 is still pending? Or is the EAD also frozen under the new security reviews? Appreciate any recent experiences.
Can we file for Ajustment of Status
My wife has an ongoing EB3 case, her Priority Date is 06/27/2023 and Case Complete is 10/26/2023 and she’s now current in the march 2026 visa bulletin. She is currently in the US with me and have challenges going back to attend the consular interview in the UK where she has been living. Again, due to the travel ban, applicants are getting denied. Can she apply for AOS through her employer while she is here with me on B2 visitor visa.
USCIS Policy Alert
It seems that about 6 days ago, USCIS updated its policy alert on their website. They finally clarified that they are “automatically considering SIJ beneficiaries for deferred action, and accepting requests for renewal of deferred action within six months of expiration on Form G-325A”.
The pre-recession policy seems to be fully back for now.

RFE Question
I had submitted all the proof with my application and I just got a RFE and looks like they’re asking almost everything that I had submitted .
Did they lost the document or why are they asking everything again?
