EB-4 Almost There? Final Action July 2021, PD September 2021
We just saw that for this February, the EB-4 visa bulletin shows a final action date of July 15, 2021. Our priority date is September 23, 2021.
Based on this movement, how much longer do you think we might need to wait? Since it’s only February, is there a possibility that the EB-4 category could become current up to our date later this year, or could it retrogress or close if the annual quota gets used up?
Do you think we may realistically need to wait until the new fiscal year in October for further movement?
Case ready to be scheduled for an interview
it’s been 119 since my status update changed to “Case ready to be scheduled for an interview”. I got the information that it is in Washington Field office through congressman. nothing more. does anyone know how long is going to take to get appointment? I learned through Emma live agent that an interview was requested and last time my case was touched is 2/4/2026.
I’m getting sick of this process. my PD 3/13/2023, filed I-485 on 7/5/2024, biometrics done on 9/5/2024, Last update 10/27/2025. AOS based on EB2-NIW, country rest of the world.
do anyone have any idea about this hassle?
VAWA I-360: How Detailed Should Friends/Family Affidavits Be for Good Faith Marriage?
Hi everyone,
For those who submitted affidavits from friends/family for VAWA I-360 (good faith marriage), did your witnesses include specific memories (like visiting your home, staying overnight, seeing you together as a couple, babysitting their kids together, etc.), or keep it more general?
Also, how long were the affidavits usually a short paragraph or closer to 1–2 pages?
Trying to guide my witnesses on what would actually be helpful for the case. Thank you!
i got approved I-30 i-485 feb friday 13th. 2.5 years for adjustment status
it was a long process. we had 2 stokes interviews first one didn`t go that well. month after we had 2 interview with really hard questions. we had to wait 7 months after 2 interview to have the aproval notice. we are so happy.
is it longer time for eb3 unskilled to get approved after 485 interviews?
for many eb2/3 applicants, they get approved within a week or two after the 485 interviews.
but it doesn’t seem like that for unskilled applicants. Maybe it’s because the officers know most candidates “buy” the offer and gc, but they don’t have the proofs so the only way they can do is to delay the approvals
