I-485 asylum based rfe status never updated to received
Asylum-based I-485(asylum granted 2016)
* October 23, 2024: I-485 receipt date.
* March 2025: Sent I-693 medical RFE response to the wrong address.
* May 2025: Resent it to the correct address.
* June 2025: USCIS confirmed receipt by phone but said documents weren’t entered into the system.
* October 2025: USCIS responded that the case was under review and a decision or further notice would be issued shortly.
* October 2026: Still no updates or decision. status still says rfe sent.
It’s been 2 years since filing and 17 months since submitting the medical. Has anyone experienced this? What would be the best next step: congressional inquiry, USCIS service request, or immigration attorney? thanks!

I have EAD valid till 2030, but it is very frustrating that there is no proper update till now.

Quick question for any Asylum seekers who has been interviewed like ibhave, a family of 6 2 US citizen kids and other 4 noncitizens
we got interviewed last year june 2025, all of a sudden we recieved a letter of biometric check for FBI for all the 4 of us as a part of our asylum case processing, we are tild its for criminal record history, finger prints and photos. anyone gone through this. am kind of numerous even though the letter say nit to do anything but privacy act makes them let the person know they have ordered our biometrics , photos and finger prints for background check.

Has anyone who filed in late 2024 or early 2025 in Rural TEA received their CGC yet?
My I-526E was approved in July 2025 but my I-485 is still pending. I’m an Indian applicant and PD is Feb 2025. I received the recent mass transfer and medical RFE notices but that’s the last I have seen.
Any insight into approvals or movements would be highly appreciated as I am considering WOM but not sure if it’s worth it given the current immigration landscape.

Current on the Visa Bulletin but no i 130 Approved
Has any one have this issue and how long did they take to get an approval. I am in the F2B category with a priority date of July 7,2020. I am now current on both charts of the bulletin but case status says "case was received and a receipt notice was sent ".
