I know I’m feeling very anxious, but I’m so worried. Every time I open Reddit, I see something worse. The latest thing I read was that VAWA cases have been frozen and that they’re now going to use AI to detect fraud. I don’t know if that’s true, but how could AI possibly determine whether someone has committed fraud? It’s crazy to me. AI doesn’t have empathy or feelings. The whole idea is terrifying. I’m so close to being hired by my dream company, but my work authorization expires in January 2029, and I would be starting in January 2027. This is supposed to be a long-term opportunity. One of the first questions during my interview was whether I would need sponsorship in 2029, because the company wouldn’t be able to sponsor me. I’ve been waiting for my immigration case for 41 months. My I-360 hasn’t even been approved yet, and I haven’t received any requests for additional evidence. I’m also afraid of meeting someone new and eventually having to explain my immigration situation, only for that person to get scared and walk away. I’m afraid of falling in love, being proposed to, and not being able to get married. I’m 32y, no kids, I want to meet someone, get marriage and be mom 😔 The processing times just keep getting longer. When I first applied, the estimated wait was only 36 months. Now it’s 52.5 months, and I still feel like my life is tied to this process. And what if I meet someone and get married? Could that help my situation? Could getting married affect my current work authorization while I wait for a new one if I apply for another process? I have so many questions, so many uncertainties, and so many fears. Today is just one of those days when my anxiety feels overwhelming. 😭

i am confused and i am frustrated and i want to ask all of the people (SIJ) that people who have their PD before 2/02/2022 and haven’t received their green card wtf you guys were been doing i have seen people on chat saying my pd is 2020 someone was saying my pd is 2019 i mean wtf you guys were doing does you got your SIJ approved in 4-5 years or what cause my PD is 03/20/2022 and before visa went back to 2018 all other people were receiving their green card in 3-6 months my 3 friends they received their card in 3.5 month i was the only one from my group when i went to apply at that time visa went to 2018 soi don’t understand how you guys are so fuckeed up my other friend he received his green cards after 7month after he applied and he did applied in 2025 and his pd is 12/09/2021 so it must be 2 things your might be bluffing or you guys are unlucky person in world have a good day and if someone want to ask how about my card i applied in march so it’s been 228 days still nothing just it say fingers print were taken so

EAD renewal almost 2 years
I applied for my EAD renewal in January 2025, I contacted congressman, they said all my cases are on the queue for adjudication. It’s so difficult to imagine that my renewal is on someone’s desk, everyday, since June for adjudication. It would probably remain there until I lose this job that I have, which involves saving other people’s lives. I am just silently counting down on days before I lose my job and then real suffering starts for me. I will lose my car and mobility , drop out of school. I will go back to my abuser and live with them and or find someone to live with, either way, I ll become a victim again. I look strong and calm. keeping hope and faith, being kind and saving lives, but I am breaking apart within myself. and no one to comfort me. VAWA since December 2022. May the Lord plead our cause.

On July 22, 2026, I submitted the requested police clearance record. On August 18, 2026, I received a Prima Facie Determination Notice.
