I received this update on September 3rd 2026 and now new visa bulletin has been publisbed and new quotas of visa will be available from October 1. Any idea how long will USCIS takes to take action on the case after Oct 1st? Anyone had same situation where their case has been current and being paused because of visa not available and after how long of new visa addition, they received updates?

Case moved from local fo to Nebraska Service Center according to Emma. My pd will no longer will be current starting tomorrow and I haven’t received the medical rfe either. I was interviewed a couple yrs ago though. Does anyone have experience with Nebraska Service Center, is it slower than others or do cases get moved from here to another field office for adjudication?

My USCIS case status was updated on September 29, 2026:
“On September 29, 2026, we issued a notice for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by October 29, 2026, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice.”
Now I’m waiting for the notice to arrive in the mail.

i was waiting for my EAD case and 5 days ago uscis send me a notice im still waiting for it to come in the mail what do you guys think it us hopefully its good news i will keep you guys updated
