I hope you are all doing great despite the bad news about the October visa bulletin. 😞
I was just wondering if any of the people who recently filed can share their experience with EAD, whether they received it and the timeline.
I filed my application on April 21, 2026, bio on May 19th, supplement J was approved on June 27th and a change of status on I-485 happened the same day. PD June 25th, 2022. No EAD yet.
Today i received this update from USCIS after 18.5 Months of silence, can you tell what does this mean, when can i expect approval

About two hours ago my asylum status changed from Next Step is the Interview to Next Step is the Adjudication. What does that mean?
I've seen that two different people have already posted here that their statuses also changed as well. My mom and I requested asylum in 2019 but our cases are separated since I was over 21y/o at the time. Her status also changed to Adjudication and we've never got a notice (other than paying for the Fee).
I currently have I-485 pending through marriage and last week I had my biometric appt and I'm now waiting for the I-130 interview. I'm not sure what's going to happen next
