Hi i just want to ask if someone experienced this we received our greencard then we changed our ssn status into permanent resident. my husband and daughter got theirs but mine is still pending due the homeland security. anyone who has an idea how long it will gonna take before i recieved the ssn card. thank you.

Hi All. my green card has expired and I received my extension form and I’m working normally. the sales person at the dealership told me I might get refused for not having a stable case or the bank might give me a loan for the duration of my extension letter only ! I wonder if anyone has any information or experience in something like that. thanks for reading 🍁

Visa status: H4 EAD Been in US since March 2020 Husband received his share of full recovery rebate and stimulus check amount. But my stimulus check amount was not sent. Hi all, Got a question here. is there anybody that is adjusting their status through marriage with USC and without ssn yet can be added to their husband insurance who works for the federal employer? My situation is I am 25 weeks pregnant and my husband cannot add me on to his insurance because his company gave the reason that he is a federal employee and for that the dependent need to have a ssn first. and i am not qualify for an emergency medicaid as well because his income is higher than the limits (not even for emergency for pregnant) and nothing came up in the marketplace because look like we do not meet in any criterias. I see some of people without ssn and in the same status with me are added to their partner’s insurance so i am a little confused .. so just because my husband works for the federal thats why they are more complicated? so is there any other people whose partner works for federal but still manage to get added on the insurance without ssn? thank you.

Hi y'all, I wanted to get a sense of how if any of you or anyone you know have immigrated senior parents to this country. One of my parents is in his 70s, currently in good health but I can foresee in 10 - 12 years, he might need more special healthcare or tending to. He will not be eligible for Medicare. He has private health insurance through his job for life which has some upcost in the States, but my bigger concern is when/if he needs at home medical care which I understand can run into several thousands per month. Is there any special assistance (Medicaid for example) that would cover all/some of those costs? Really appreciate if anyone has any inputs/suggestions regarding this.
