Case Approved

🇯🇲🇯🇲 Did my interview yesterday, NYC, case approved 🎉🎉
I’ve been smiling so hard since last night when my status changed to “New card is being produced” My IO wasn’t really very friendly🥴 She asked my husband like 3 questions “what different personalities you and your wife have, how many kids we have and who cooks. Then she ask me the date I came to America (I told her the date on my I-94), if I’m working (I told her yes since I got my work permit) if I got to school (I said yes I just finished a nursing program) she said that’s good , Then she asked why do I need a sponsor and who is my sponsor, who pays the bills, then asked how much are our BILLS (I started stuttering because in my head I’m like am I supposed to calculate every bill and tell her) then she aggressively said 🗣”How much is your rent ma”am?!”🥴 I told her then she quickly went to the yes/no questions (it was a NO for everything) Then she asked me my plans for the future🥴 then told me to sign a paper and said everything looks fine she’s gonna check my medical to see if it’s good, and oh she jumped back to my husband and said “Sir where does your wife go to school?” he told her then she said “Ok expect something in the mail in the coming days” as we walked out her office she said “are you guys gonna hug?” Never said we got approved but I guess that was her saying it? The only thing I gave as joint was our leases from 2011 to 2021 and she asked for a picture of us together with no hats or nothing in the face. Now patiently waiting for my card in the mail😁😁😁

n400 and i751 approved — sharing my experience
Hi Fam - my N400 and i751 just got approved. My timeline: -i751 PD: december 2019 -Biometrics: january 2020 -n400 PD: September 2020 -i751 RFE: October 2020 -Biometrics reused for n400: february 2021 -N400 interview in New York City: July 2021 Since i751 was still pending I brought my wife with me to the n400 interview, as advised by my lawyer. My wife had to wait downstairs. The officer i got was a nice lady. Very calm, no rude at all. Did n400 test first, i passed the civic and english test. Also asked me a few things like my travel history and work history. We then moved to i751 (combo interview). She had my i751 file in her hands. Asked me a few things about my marriage like how we met and other simple things like that. also gave her some extra evidence. Everything went smooth. She didn't even ask for my wife to come to the office to interview her as well. At the end she gave me a paper that said i passed the test but couldn't make a decision yet. She said they were going to check the case and let me know soon wether i was going to be approved or if i was going to have to come for another interview for the i751 with my wife. Then 8 days later i received a notification saying i'm "scheduled for oath ceremony" for my n400, and "card being produced" for i751. I expect to have the oath ceremony within the next 3-4 weeks. That's it. I celebrated and partied hard last night. The wait is over. Have faith everyone. Be patient. Don't overthink this process too much (i know it's hard), but you will get there sooner than later baruch hashem. Just relax. Good luck!
