Update Social
I got a question do we need to update my Social if you got it with EAD but now I got my Green card . do I need to update it so it doesn't show letters " valid with work permit only " . ? does anybody knows ? thanks

yes, you take your card and ssn card and go to the social security administration and they will change it for you. you may want to look up the nearest office to you and make an appointment tho because since covid they’re trying to minimize the interaction

give it some time so their system gets updated with your new status. it's not instant

once you have your GC, just go to the SSA. here in CA it took a week for the updated SS card to arrive. congratulations!
