My EAD finally delivered today. I just want to share my timeline in case it might be helpful for your information. My case is marriage base and the service center is NBC. My waiting time for EAD is about 7 months.

I 485 approved and new card is being produced
Got an update from USCIS that my card is being produced.
My interview was done on 10th Nov 2021 at LA field office. Officer told us if we hadn't hear from her by 17th Nov, my GC will be in the mail by 24th. Considering the Thanksgiving holidays, I was expecting it would be this week and here it is!
Also, on EAD/AP were approved on 10th and 12th November and received the combo card on 17th Nov.
Just wanted to share the news.

N400 with pending I 751 combo interview
today I had my citizenship interview at federal plaza in NYC. we arrived at 8:45am and we got interviewed by 11 am. I took my wife to the interview even though the notice did not ask. the officer called my name and then he asked me if my wife with me. he let us in together and my wife stayed the whole time in the room even when he is done with the I751 interview.
he only asked a few questions about our marriage, he was so nice. review our joint documents and scand the marriage certificate and the selective service. then, he started the civic test right after.
name one US territory?
who is your state governor?
if the president no longer able to serve who becomes the president?
what Ocean in the west cost?
how many justices in the Supreme Court?
for how many years we elect the president?
reading who can vote?
writing: citizens can vote.
then he asked the yes or no questions and that’s it we are done.
he told me congratulations you are eligible to become a US citizen and he printed the confirmation paper. he ended by saying after the final approval you will receive the Ceremony litter within 2-3 weeks.

Time for Social security number after receiving EAD
Hello everyone!
My EAD was approved on November 22 and I received the EAD on November 30. I reached out to USCIS and they informed that the request was social security number was submitted on November 22 to social security office. I called the toll free number as well as my local social security office but no one could tell me if they have received any request from USCIS.
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to track the status of social security number or should I go to my local office and file a new application?

Interview experience
Our appointment was at 9:25 am. We got there at 9:00am. We did the security check, took the elevator to the 2nd floor and dropped our interview notice into a box at the check-in window. We had a female USCIS officer who popped her head out as she walked the person before us out into the waiting room. She said she’ll be with us shortly and went back in. The couple that just finished their interview were talking about the wife now being official as they left which was reassuring. The USCIS officer came back and asked for my medical I-693 which I handed her.
My husband got called in first at 9:36 am and went in with our counsel. He came out in 20-25 minutes. He seemed really cool when he got out but he’s unfazed by most things. He shook me and said good luck in a scary voice lol.
I was then called in alone. She said the pic from biometrics was a really nice one and said “you go girl!” I took the oath and then was told they need a picture and fingerprints for ID. I gave my passport as ID. She asked if I had any other ID. I said no. She was firm but friendly and was looking at the screen most of the time. The computer was lagging and slow and she kept asking it to work and yelling at it throughout haha. In the end of the interview, she asked if we have any evidence to show – I gave her a whole evidence binder for her to keep. She said now I’m not gonna scan these (probably due to her computer issues). She flipped through the whole binder and started typing on her computer. She used my table of contents for reference which made me happy. She then asked our counsel if he’d told us about i751 which was great to hear. He said he usually tells clients after and she can tell me about it if she wants to. She said we should get the card in 1-2 weeks. She said our evidence binder was wonderful and to keep adding to it to show after 2 years. She then asked if my name was on the mail box lol. I didn’t know what to make of this and said no we only have the house number. She said I suggest that to avoid having the GC returned, I would tape your name on the mailbox since you didn’t change my name. If it’s returned, you gotta wait 3-5 months! She complimented our evidence binder again and asked if I had any questions. I said no and she walked us out to the waiting room.
Mistakes: I said 3 bedrooms instead of 4 – we don’t use one and I just forgot about it – silly me!
Hope this helps. Good luck to you all!
PS: Status is yet to change in the system.
