Marriage-based (to US citizen) GC approved in 4 months!
hi everyone! had our interview yesterday in the Miami FO and got approved on the spot! officer was really nice and friendly, talked to us for about 40 minutes, but didn’t ask anything tricky (asked how we met, if we see our families a lot, asked about what I do for work, about our dogs, etc). She praised our package, said it was very well organized, did not ask to see any additional evidences. my timeline looks odd on this app, so here is a summary: - priority date July 21 2021 - biometrics Sept 17 2021 - request for evidence Sept 20 - response to RFE Sept 21 - expedite request for combo card submitted on Nov 9 - response to expedite request submitted on Nov 11 - Combo card approved on Nov 15 - GC interview on Nov 30 (approved on the spot) - Approval notice in the system on Dec 1 updates: - card was produções on Dec 3 - card was picles um By USPS on Dec 6 - card delivery date: Dec 9 good luck everyone!

Tks!!!! yes, for expediting the combo card, I submitted a letter from my employer requesting my updated EAD and it worked!

@bac we got married in may 2021, so married for two months before sending paperwork and almost 7 months until GC interview. I got the conditional green card which is valid for two years (that is what they give you when you haven’t been married for more than two years),

I did my biometrics there @camila Soares ~ The staff was pretty friendly. My current field office is Oakland Park now.

@camila thanks for answer. I’m in Orlando in the same process. I have been married for the last 8 years with a US Citizen. I’ve been here since March 2021 and a submitted my petition on June 22 … and still waiting .

How do you think I feel?...I filed my papers in 2019 & JUST got my first EAD & my case was also just approved. I've been waiting a VERY long time also.

It's been a big mess. I have this atty who doesn't communicate w/me, so that was a big part of the problem. My case is approved now, thanks to God. She still hasn't told me that though. All the info I know has been from notifications from Lawfully. smh The WP got mailed out yesterday. Mentally I'm drained & don't want to suffer anymore aggravation or stress w/this whole process. I just need it it all to be done already. I'm mentally fatigued.
