Case Approved
help please!
my case was approved om 31st Jan,2022 by usics.I received approval letter on 6Feb,2022 thru mail box.
in that letters it was mentioned that your case is forward to NVC and they will process and send you a welcome letter and invoice ID.Minimum 45 days were asked to wait.
After 45 days completed we made a phone call to NVC and asked regarding the status’ so they issued Invoice ID.
now when i enter invoice i’d it shows that your case is returned to USICS for Administrative Actions and case is no more at NVC.
please share if any idea about what is going on and what will happen next.
Patience is key. Distract your mind
Hey I know it’s a long process. I was overthinking things, worrying about the documents I could have sent… Thinking about it everyday stressed me out. Please don’t worry. I didn’t provide as much evidence as other people, but still got approved. i just provided the documents that are asked for on the USCIS website nothing extra. You got this. Most importantly keep on doing the things you do everyday and distract your mind from it. If you hold a cup of water on your hand for too long it will get paralyzed. Put the cup down and enjoy your life. Don’t think about it too much and just enjoy life

EAD send to an unknown address
My EAD card was send to an address in Cleveland. I never lived in Cleveland before. I checked my application that I send USCIS it has my personal home address. I contacted USCIS, the officer is saying that I should write a letter to a different service center. I am so confused and frustrated. I was anticipating my EAD card so that I can start work. anyone has similar problems?
Got my green card today 🎉
I had my interview 2 weeks ago. FO - San Jose, CA. It took about 30 minutes in total. Most of it was verifying info on my I-130 and I-485. The IO was very nice and respectful.
Some questions asked:
- How we met
- What we do as a couple
- What we like about each other
- Our future plans
Joint evidences we submitted:
- Lease agreement
- Insurance (car, health, life)
- Bank account statements
- Beneficiary statements
- Utilities
- Printed photos with labels — I used Word
- Wedding photo book — the IO flipped through it
- Membership cards
Best of luck to everyone! 💗

My AOS case has been approved
marriage-based.
Had our interview on Wednesday. I was super nervous because we didn’t have much of supporting paperwork since I only got my SSN in January. But we had all the essential documents.
I feel like we spent more time in the waiting room rather than on the office with the officer. Got approved on the spot. I was told that I should expect my card in mail in about two weeks.

Question: I just got my GC after a year waiting after the Caruso interview . I’m wondering for removing conditions do I need to be on the conditional for 2 years or I need to be married for 2 years?
Also to apply for Citizenship do I need to be on permanent residency for 3 years of be married for 3 years because then I have a gap of a year because they didn’t respond until a year after . thanks !
